Rela\u00e7\u00f5es resilientes, amorosas e de apoio entre pais e filhos dependem da capacidade do pai de ser curioso e aberto \u00e0 experi\u00eancia da crian\u00e7a. \u00c9 por essa raz\u00e3o que os profissionais que trabalham com pais t\u00eam como objetivo promover capacidades de reflex\u00e3o, particularmente em fam\u00edlias altamente estressadas onde as amea\u00e7as \u00e0 seguran\u00e7a s\u00e3o abundantes e essas capacidades s\u00e3o conquistadas com esfor\u00e7o. Mas, antes disso, eles devem estabelecer (e reestabelecer) fundamentos relacionais da reflex\u00e3o <\/em>em pais: seguran\u00e7a, regula\u00e7\u00e3o e confian\u00e7a. Estes s\u00e3o os blocos de constru\u00e7\u00e3o a partir dos quais emerge a capacidade de conhecer a si mesmo e aos outros. A seguran\u00e7a e a regula\u00e7\u00e3o aut\u00f4noma facilitam o desenvolvimento das rela\u00e7\u00f5es de confian\u00e7a que constituem os alicerces essenciais para o aprendizado, a descoberta e a reflex\u00e3o. Esta apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o utilizar\u00e1 elementos-chave da Minding the Baby \u00ae <\/em>O programa de visitas domiciliares visa descrever como os profissionais de sa\u00fade podem estabelecer essas bases relacionais e tirar os pais do estado de \u201cluta ou fuga\u201d e introduzi-los em rela\u00e7\u00f5es de confian\u00e7a significativas que lhes permitam descobrir-se e o seu filho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arietta Slade, PhD \u00e9 professora de Psicologia Cl\u00ednica Infantil no Yale Child Study Center. Uma te\u00f3rica, cl\u00ednica, pesquisadora e professora reconhecida internacionalmente, ela escreveu extensivamente sobre o desenvolvimento do funcionamento reflexivo parental, as implica\u00e7\u00f5es do v\u00ednculo para a psicoterapia infantil e adulta e a pr\u00e1tica baseada em rela\u00e7\u00f5es para a sa\u00fade mental infantil. Ela \u00e9 Co-Fundadora e Co-Diretora do Minding the Baby\u00ae (MTB), um programa interdisciplinar de visitas domiciliares baseados em evid\u00eancias para fam\u00edlias jovens. Dra. Slade tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 autora, com Jeremy Holmes, de Attachment in Therapeutic Practice (Holmes & Slade, SAGE Publications, 2018); e editora do conjunto de seis volumes Major Work on Attachment (Slade & Holmes, SAGE Publications, 2014), bem como de Mind to Mind: Infant Research, Neuroscience, and Psychoanalysis (Jurist, Slade, & Bergner, Other Press, 2008) e Children at Play (Slade & Wolf, Oxford University Press, 1994).
