Houve muitas revolu\u00e7\u00f5es no cuidado com crian\u00e7as pequenas no s\u00e9culo passado e os componentes do Modelo DIR (Desenvolvimento, Diferen\u00e7a Individual, Relacionamento) t\u00eam uma longa tradi\u00e7\u00e3o te\u00f3rica, cl\u00ednica e de pesquisa. N\u00f3s nos baseamos nos esfor\u00e7os de muitos gigantes e nos esfor\u00e7amos para integrar os dom\u00ednios do desenvolvimento, pois nenhum dom\u00ednio do desenvolvimento se sustenta sozinho. Precis\u00e1vamos de outro modelo ou teoria do desenvolvimento? N\u00f3s pensamos que sim e hoje o DIR continua a ser desenvolvido ao longo da vida, com a neuroci\u00eancia mostrando-nos as vias de conectividade. (Wieder & Greenspan). Nossa base foi o apego e as rela\u00e7\u00f5es e nos concentramos na media\u00e7\u00e3o entre o pai\/cuidador. Abrimos a porta para compreender as diferen\u00e7as individuais (processos sens\u00f3rio-motores) e as conex\u00f5es corpo-c\u00e9rebro, e integr\u00e1mos capacidades emocionais funcionais e sa\u00fade mental. Cri\u00e1mos perfis DIR para al\u00e9m dos diagn\u00f3sticos e programas de interven\u00e7\u00e3o abrangentes adaptados \u00e0s necessidades dos indiv\u00edduos.\u00a0O m\u00e9todo Floor Time foi a nossa principal metodologia e o enfoque foi utilizado para codificar a experi\u00eancia dos participantes. Estas abordagens permitiram acolher crian\u00e7as com autismo e compreender essas pessoas permitiu-nos aprender mais sobre os desafios neurodivergentes. Os v\u00eddeos ser\u00e3o utilizados para ilustrar o curso evolutivo e como trabalhamos, tendo em mente que o desenvolvimento tem a sua pr\u00f3pria cronologia ao longo da vida.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Serena Wieder<\/strong> \u00e9 psic\u00f3loga cl\u00ednica e fundadora e diretora cl\u00ednica da Profectum Foundation, um programa interdisciplinar de forma\u00e7\u00e3o de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o. Ela co-criou o Modelo de Desenvolvimento, Diferen\u00e7a Individual e Relacionamento, mais conhecido como DIR e Floor Time, incorporando as conex\u00f5es entre o c\u00e9rebro e o corpo e seu profundo impacto nas rela\u00e7\u00f5es, na regula\u00e7\u00e3o e no funcionamento emocional. Este modelo surgiu a partir de um estudo longitudinal de preven\u00e7\u00e3o de seis anos do NIMH, realizado com beb\u00eas nascidos em fam\u00edlias de risco elevado, e \u00e9 relevante para indiv\u00edduos neurot\u00edpicos e neurodivergentes. O DIR foi tamb\u00e9m o primeiro a abordar a esquizofrenia e a s\u00edndrome de d\u00e9ficit de aten\u00e7\u00e3o com base na perspectiva do desenvolvimento emocional funcional e da sa\u00fade mental, sendo pioneiro na interven\u00e7\u00e3o mediada pelos pais para o autismo e outras necessidades especiais. A Dra. Wieder co-autorizou\u00a0A Crian\u00e7a com Necessidades Especiais e o Autismo\u00a0<\/em>e\u00a0Sa\u00fade Mental Infantil e Crian\u00e7as Juvendades<\/em>\u00a0com Stanley Greenspan, M.D., e <\/em>coautor\u00a0Portais Espaciais Visuais para Pensamento, Sentimento e Movimento<\/em>\u00a0com Harry Wachs, O.D., al\u00e9m do Profectum Parent Toolbox<\/em>. A Dra. Wieder publicou mais de 40 artigos cient\u00edficos e cap\u00edtulos de livros e dissemina amplamente o Modelo DIR em confer\u00eancias nacionais e internacionais. Os seus interesses especiais s\u00e3o o desenvolvimento simb\u00f3lico e o processamento espacial visual. Ela leciona em v\u00e1rias universidades e atuou no Conselho de Dire\u00e7\u00e3o do DIR durante 23 anos. Ela ajudou a fundar os programas de forma\u00e7\u00e3o interdisciplinar DIR na Argentina e no Brasil e tem especial orgulho do trabalho do DIR-Israel, que hoje com 23 anos, ela visita com frequ\u00eancia.
