Reflexi\u00f3n de Jennifer Harrison<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He estado escribiendo respuestas poema por poema a los *New Collected Poems* de la poetisa irlandesa recientemente fallecida Eavan Boland (1944-2020). Este poema fue escrito como respuesta a \u2018Lullaby\u2019, de uno de sus primeros libros, *New Territory* (1967). Considero que estos poemas son \u2018eco-resonancias\u2019 de los de Boland. Por supuesto, el poema tambi\u00e9n trata sobre m\u00ed: c\u00f3mo me convert\u00ed en abuela por primera vez durante el confinamiento por la COVID en Melbourne en 2020. Nombrado. Llegando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qu\u00e9 verazmente miras hacia la nada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

en nieve o arena, pero rastros anteriores<\/p>\n\n\n\n

borrado por nuevas nieves, nuevas mareas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estas son nuestras nuevas palabras. Pristinos somos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juntos. Un momento aqu\u00ed y all\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todo mi vida significa esto. Y sin embargo, no es as\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La belleza de empezar. El miedo<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Debo contener dentro \u2014 que tanta belleza<\/p>\n\n\n\n

es vulnerable y no es m\u00edo <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Dra. Jennifer Harrison ha publicado ocho poemarios y coeditado tres antolog\u00edas de poes\u00eda australiana, entre ellas Veta madre<\/em>, Poes\u00eda de mujeres australianas 1986-2008<\/em> (Puncher & Wattmann 2009). Ha recibido muchos premios, entre ellos el Premio de Poes\u00eda Anne Elder, el Premio de Escritoras de Nueva Gales del Sur (NSW) y la Medalla de Poes\u00eda Martha Richardson. Su libro m\u00e1s reciente De todas formas<\/em> fue publicado por Black Pepper, Melbourne (2018). En 2020, coedit\u00f3 el volumen 9, n\u00famero 2 de la Australian Poetry Journal, DIS\u2014,<\/em> una antolog\u00eda de poes\u00eda australiana que refleja la experiencia de la discapacidad.
