Gracias a la amabilidad del ponente, hay una grabaci\u00f3n del seminario web disponible <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ucMBQEvMDM8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>aqu\u00ed<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La socializaci\u00f3n en una v\u00eda cultural comienza en la infancia con decisiones sobre pr\u00e1cticas b\u00e1sicas de cuidado infantil, como dormir y comer. Los conductas de apego reflejan algunos universales en el desarrollo de relaciones sociales cercanas. Por ejemplo, los beb\u00e9s de todo el mundo buscan la proximidad a personas espec\u00edficas y se angustian si no la logran. No obstante, los cuidadores de diferentes comunidades responden de distintas maneras a la angustia del infante: contacto f\u00edsico (crianza proximal) o contacto a distancia (interacci\u00f3n vocal cara a cara, es decir, crianza distal). Esta respuesta diferencial genera dos v\u00edas culturalmente muy diferentes hacia el apego infantil y el desarrollo adulto. Las caracter\u00edsticas sociodemogr\u00e1ficas y ecol\u00f3gicas influyen en qu\u00e9 v\u00eda cultural se toma. La riqueza, la urbanizaci\u00f3n, la educaci\u00f3n formal y la tecnolog\u00eda sofisticada conducen a la crianza distal y al desarrollo de un individuo independiente. La pobreza, el entorno rural, la educaci\u00f3n en el hogar o en la comunidad y la tecnolog\u00eda simple conducen a la crianza proximal y al desarrollo de un individuo interdependiente. Se presentar\u00e1n ejemplos de EE. Patricia Marks Greenfield recibi\u00f3 su licenciatura. <em>summa cum laude<\/em> y su doctorado de la Universidad de Harvard. Actualmente es Profesora Distinguida de Psicolog\u00eda en la UCLA y Acad\u00e9mica Visitante en Harvard en el Departamento de Biolog\u00eda Evolutiva Humana. En 1968, el Dr. T. Berry Brazelton la invit\u00f3 a dar seguimiento a su investigaci\u00f3n sobre reci\u00e9n nacidos en una comunidad maya en Chiapas, M\u00e9xico; y desde entonces ha estado estudiando all\u00ed los efectos del cambio social en el desarrollo. Esta investigaci\u00f3n culmin\u00f3 en su libro de 2004, <em>Tejiendo generaciones juntas: La creatividad en evoluci\u00f3n de los mayas de Chiapas, <\/em>e inspir\u00f3 su teor\u00eda del cambio social, la evoluci\u00f3n cultural y el desarrollo humano. La teor\u00eda ha generado una amplia gama de investigaci\u00f3n emp\u00edrica con colaboradores en UCLA y en todo el mundo. Los temas de investigaci\u00f3n actuales incluyen cambios intergeneracionales en ecolog\u00eda, cultura, cognici\u00f3n, comportamiento y crianza de los hijos en EE.
