Parece que la incertidumbre nos rodea en estos d\u00edas, y eso me ha puesto en un espacio reflexivo. En este seminario web, compartir\u00e9 aspectos de mi trayectoria personal y profesional de m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os aprovechando la ciencia del apego mediante los modelos de intervenci\u00f3n del C\u00edrculo de Seguridad. El C\u00edrculo de Seguridad se utiliza como parte de unas pocas herramientas cl\u00ednicas flexibles y f\u00e1ciles de usar dise\u00f1adas para ayudar a los cuidadores principales a ver el comportamiento de los ni\u00f1os a trav\u00e9s de la lente de las necesidades de apego. Los padres, los proveedores de educaci\u00f3n infantil, los cuidadores de acogida y adoptivos desempe\u00f1an el papel de base segura y refugio seguro para los ni\u00f1os bajo su cuidado. Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 significa realmente ser una base segura y un refugio seguro? \u00bfY c\u00f3mo ayuda a los cuidadores a brindar cuidados el hecho de comprender las necesidades de apego? Neil W. Boris es miembro del equipo de liderazgo internacional del C\u00edrculo de Seguridad (Circle of Security International Leadership Team). Neil capacita, entrena y apoya a proveedores de todo el mundo. Es el arquitecto principal de la serie de cursos COS-Intensive (ahora disponibles en l\u00ednea) y de la experiencia de aprendizaje guiado en l\u00ednea La Condici\u00f3n Humana (Human Condition).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los antecedentes de Neil como m\u00e9dico centrado en la psiquiatr\u00eda infantil y su paso por el \u00e1mbito acad\u00e9mico como profesor son las ra\u00edces de sus pasiones de toda la vida por la trabajo cl\u00ednico y la investigaci\u00f3n. Como profesor de salud p\u00fablica y medicina en la Universidad de Tulane durante m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada, codirigi\u00f3 el servicio de salud mental para ni\u00f1os con enfermedades m\u00e9dicas, trabaj\u00f3 con padres que luchaban contra el consumo de sustancias, desarroll\u00f3 un programa a nivel estatal para ni\u00f1os de alto riesgo menores de cinco a\u00f1os y ayud\u00f3 a crear programas para ni\u00f1os hu\u00e9rfanos en Malaui y Ruanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neil fue uno de los primeros en adoptar el modelo Circle of Security-Intensive (C\u00edrculo de Seguridad Intensivo), al ponerse en contacto con los creadores del modelo a finales de la d\u00e9cada de 1990. Para 2003, trabajaba con clientes en un programa residencial de abuso de sustancias que atend\u00eda a mujeres y a sus hijos peque\u00f1os, realizando un grupo de psicoterapia semanal basado en video que era de duraci\u00f3n indefinida y funcion\u00f3 durante casi 2 a\u00f1os seguidos. Neil tambi\u00e9n trabaj\u00f3 extensamente con las otras v\u00edas del COS; comenz\u00f3 como formador del COSP en 2014, se incorpor\u00f3 a tiempo parcial al COSI en 2017 y forma parte del equipo de liderazgo de COS-International desde 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9l practica el C\u00edrculo en casa bajo la gu\u00eda de su esposa, Adena; juntos encuentran mucha alegr\u00eda en cuidar a sus tres hijos y al alborotado perro de agua portugu\u00e9s de la familia.
