Mi viaje fue m\u00e1gico. Adquir\u00ed much\u00edsima experiencia maravillosa con la NBO y tambi\u00e9n llegu\u00e9 a creer en ella como una herramienta \u00fatil de una nueva manera. Ya la ten\u00eda en muy alta estima, pero tras la respuesta de las enfermeras, los m\u00e9dicos y los trabajadores sociales en estas tres instituciones, vi el enorme valor de la NBO como un medio pr\u00e1ctico para llevar lo que llaman un enfoque \u201chumanitario\u201d a su trabajo diario con los beb\u00e9s y sus familias. Te habr\u00edas quedado asombrado con la respuesta que obtuvimos.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

En El Salvador tuvimos 40 participantes. Un obstetra ya me entreg\u00f3 los formularios de 5 de sus beb\u00e9s. \u00bfPueden creerlo? Dos neonat\u00f3logos de esa capacitaci\u00f3n son de Honduras y quieren que vaya a dar una capacitaci\u00f3n all\u00e1. La asistencia fue menor en Lima (unos 15-15 participantes), pero la respuesta fue a\u00fan m\u00e1s emotiva. Las enfermeras y los neonat\u00f3logos no paraban de abrazarme y decirme que ten\u00eda que volver, que lo que estaba ense\u00f1ando en el NBO era muy valioso, que quer\u00edan hacer una capacitaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s grande la pr\u00f3xima vez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellos traen al mundo a miles de beb\u00e9s. Una de las maravillosas enfermeras de la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales (UCIN), que ha trabajado all\u00ed durante 30 a\u00f1os, nos ense\u00f1\u00f3 una tarjeta AMOR en su uniforme cuando visitamos la UCIN. En las capacitaciones, tuvimos 5 beb\u00e9s en El Salvador y 7 beb\u00e9s en Lima. Recibimos muchos videos. El \u00fanico problema fue que los lindos beb\u00e9s no abr\u00edan los ojos lo suficiente como para hacer el seguimiento visual. Pero todos se giraban hacia las voces de sus padres. Vimos a dos padres en El Salvador (madres recuper\u00e1ndose de ces\u00e1reas) y a dos parejas de madre y padre en Lima; una familia ten\u00eda dos padres adolescentes.<\/p>\n<\/div>
